Tuneable Vacuum Ultraviolet Generation from an Ytterbium-based Ultrafast Laser by Resonant Dispersive Wave Emission

Abstract

We frequency convert ultrafast laser pulses from a commercial high-power ytterbium-based drive laser to the vacuum ultraviolet down to 145 nm through resonant dispersive wave emission in a gas-filled hollow-core fibre.
