Generation of Tunable Sub-2 fs Resonant Dispersive Wave Pulses From an Ytterbium-Based Laser System

Abstract

We present a three-stage setup generating ultrafast, wavelength-tunable resonant dispersive wave pulses in the deep ultraviolet from an ytterbium-based laser. We characterize the pulses using in-vacuum transient-grating frequency-resolved optical gating, finding sub-2 femtosecond pulse durations.
