Martin Gebhardt wins Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship

Congratulations to LUPO post-doc Martin Gebhardt who has been selected by the European Research Executive Agency for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. His project entitled “High-Energy Short-Wavelength Infrared Soliton Dynamics and Sub-Cycle Strong-Field Physics” is funded through the UK Research and Innovation Horizon Europe guarantee.

John C. Travers awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies

Prof. John C. Travers has been awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Technologies, a major research fellowship, providing ten years of underpinning support (£2.5m) to work on new technologies with great potential. His work will be focused on producing practical high-brightness and ultrafast far-ultraviolet, X-ray and electron beams. More information can be found here.
